Mill Race Marathon is one of Indiana's premier running events, offering a Boston-qualifying marathon, half marathon, 5K, and one of the Midwest's largest free Kids Fun Runs. Whether you're chasing a personal record or looking for a fun community event, there's a race for every age and ability.
The flat, fast marathon course winds through architecturally renowned downtown Columbus, scenic parks, and tree-lined trails with minimal elevation gain—making it an ideal course for first-time marathoners and Boston hopefuls alike. Marathon and half marathon participants are also eligible for a chance to win a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram pickup truck (must be 18 or older and present to win), along with other prize giveaways.
After crossing the finish line, celebrate with food, live music, and family-friendly activities in downtown Columbus. Even if you're not racing, spectators are encouraged to join the fun and cheer on participants throughout the day. Register early to receive discounted pricing.
