More About Aron Schuhrke, State Farm

Several years as a manager for a local auto body shop provided Aron Schuhrke with a unique perspective on the insurance business. “As the manager of the body shop, I was in contact with insurance companies every day,” Schuhrke explained. “I learned that State Farm customers were always taken care of promptly and fairly.”

When Schuhrke decided to change careers and look into insurance companies, the lessons he learned stuck with him.

“I did look at multiple insurance companies,” he said. “State Farm had a company motto to always ‘pay what we owe.’ They were, quite frankly, the best company to deal with on a claim.”

The motto and the methodology impressed Schuhrke.

“I pride myself on integrity and I wanted to align myself with a company I felt I could represent and stand behind,” he said. “I have old school values. I still believe that your word is your bond. If you agree to something, you need to stand behind it.”

Schuhrke explained that insurance is a promise that if something bad happens, the insurance company and agent promises to be there for the customer.

“I feel as a State Farm Agent I can deliver that promise to my customers,” he said.

He began as a claim representative for State Farm 20 years ago. After 10
years, Schuhrke became an agent. “I started my Lowell office in May of 2006,” he said. “Then, I started a second office in Cedar Lake last February.”

Very few agents have two offices, but Schuhrke’s record of accomplishment
allowed him to become one of the select few. Part of those criteria is his
genuine enthusiasm for the job.

“Every day I get to interact with my customers and my team,” he said. “As an agent, I get the opportunity to deliver on my promise to take care of
my customers.”

Schuhrke prides himself on his availability and customer service. “No matter what type of claim, I’m always only a phone call away. I have an awesome, experienced team that allows me to provide the best customer experience and makes us consistently the number one agency in our territory.”

State Farm has everything one would need regarding auto, home, life, and health insurances, as well as banking and financial services. They have competitively priced products, and are rated first in customer service. They have a sterling reputation for the best claims service. In addition, State Farm recently partnered with Blue Cross Blue Shield to offer marketplace health insurance.

“Twenty years of experience gives me the knowledge needed to determine
what coverage you need and why you need it,” Schuhrke said. “It’s my job
to teach you about insurance and explain what it means to you. I want my customers to be educated about our products and services.”

Schuhrke gives back to the community that supports him. He has served on Lowell’s Park Board, the Police Commission, and the Chamber of Commerce.

“I support baseball and softball teams every year,” he said. “I also donate to the school band and other sports programs.”

Old school values, integrated with new school policies and services. Isn’t that what you’ve been looking for?
