More About Beginner Yoga with Dyer Parks and Recreation (ages 18+) ๐ง
Come out and meet our new instructor, Kayla. Kayla has been teaching for 7 years and is certified in yoga, chair yoga, aerial yoga, yoga nidra (guided meditation) and trauma classes.
Beginner Yoga is a class focused on the foundation of yoga poses, pranayama (breath work) and mindfulness/meditation. This class is geared specifically for those that would like to try yoga, those who are interested in a gentle practice and those wanting to deepen their practice.
You'll challenge yourself as you work at your own level in a safe and supportive environment. Modifications will be offered as you practice each pose. This class incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance and flexibility. Yoga is for every "body", come as you are. Be sure to bring a mat or towel & water.
