2026 Indiana Dunes Outdoor Adventure Festival

​Celebrate the outdoors at the 2026 Indiana Dunes Outdoor Adventure Festival. The festival starts on Friday, September 4, and continues through Sunday, September 20. More than 50 events will take place during the festival at parks and preserves throughout Northwest Indiana. There are events for visitors of all ages and activity levels include hiking, biking, photography, yoga, birding, geocaching, and many more for visitors of all ages and activity levels.

There is no charge for the festival and no pre-registration is required for most events. Indiana Dunes National Park has an entrance fee of $25 per car for a 1–7-day pass. A $45 annual pass for the national park is also available. Please purchase passes or pay the entrance fee at the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center, West Beach Entrance Station or at Click for Details Veterans/Military/Gold Star Family, Access, and 4th Grade passes are available for free. Indiana Dunes State Park will charge a daily per car entrance fee of $7 in-state / $20 out-of-state. State and national park passes are not interchangeable.
