As the Golden Hour hits, the shadows of our dwarf conifers stretch across the tracks, and the sunlight glints off the brass railings of the G-gauge locomotives. It’s the perfect time to slow down, breathe in the fresh air, and lose yourself in the tiny details of American history. Avoid the mid-day sun and come on out to the see the trains running in the golden hours of day. Trains will be running from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on the first Wednesdays from June to September. Entrance fee and railway garden fee applies.

Officially becoming part of Purdue University Northwest in 2018, Gabis Arboretum provides an enriching, natural habitat for public, educational, conservation and recreational use.
