Within silence, we can discover deeper aspects of wisdom using the ancient teachings from Buddha to integrate into our modern lives. Even if you've never tried or think that you can be silent, would like to invite you to experience the benefits of silence by exploring your mind with wisdom.
We like being together when things are going well in our relationships like when we are being treated kindly and with respect. However, if our love diminishes when others cause some problems or fail to appreciate us, this indicates our love is unstable and weak.
In this silent retreat, Kadam Tom will explore the following:
- how we can create good karma, actions, with others
- how is it possible to see others in a positive way even if they are not creating good feelings with us
- how to stabilize and strengthen our love for others in a beneficial way
“There is no need to blame the other person for failing to live up to our expectations.” — Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
