More About Art of Photography Workshop
Like to take photos? Then sign up for the “Art of Photography Workshop” on Saturday May 18th, 9:30 to 4:30 pm with Penny Knobel-Besa. It’s informal and fun day with your camera or cell phone. You start taking photos before you attend by photographing 20 items on a Photographer’s Scavenger Hunt list sent when you register. You bring your best 20 shots to the workshop, for show and tell!
Session is for beginners to learn some basic tips for better photos and for the more experienced to spend time with their camera exploring new artistic directions. Workshop includes a slide show of tips, reviewing Adobe Photoshop tools, samples provided of model releases, and copyright data. Chats about matting and framing, showing, and selling your work, a little field trip and ends with a model shoot. Each photographer gets a chance to suggest poses for the model, it’s relaxed, variety of clothing from gowns, funky outfits, hats.
Workshop goal is to develop the artistic eye. Held at Sanctuary Studios in Flintstone with instructor, Penny Knobel-Besa who is a fine arts photographer, playwright, and theatre director.
