More About Cornerstone Home & Gardens
Cornerstone Home & Gardens, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization centered around the Ridgefield CT area. Cornerstone currently runs an educational gardening experience for community members including over 50 volunteers and donates freshly grown produce as part of the Ridgefield “Dirty Hands, Full Plates” initiative. Their goal is to expand and create additional programs with year-round facilities and services for individuals with a variety of diagnoses.
At the Meetinghouse in Ridgebury, Cornerstone seeks to provide an opportunity for neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism and related disabilities, to develop their full potential through day programs.
Cornerstone will create a unique environment in which participants experience real-life work opportunities in the areas of gardening & farming, building & grounds maintenance, landscape design, and public relations.
