More About Art in the Park: Painting in Indiana Dunes National Park π¨
Come get mildly sandy and majorly inspired by the Indiana Dunes National Park in our partnership with the National Park Trust. This park was formed by glaciers over thousand of years, but weβll only be there for a day.
This free, all-day experience will include a guided hike on the Dune Succession Trail, a collaborative painting workshop, and lunch with a breath-taking view.
Schedule of events on Saturday, October 4:
10:00 AM β Check-in at Indiana Dunes National Park β West Beach
10:30 AM β Welcome and introductions
11 AM β Ranger-led interpretive hike on Dune Succession Trail (there will be two routes to accommodate different types of hikers: an accessible, paved path and a slightly more technical trail with stairs)
12:30 PM β Lunch (provided)
1:30 PM β Painting in the Park
3:30 PM β Closing
Our classes and workshops are free and open to anyone in the military community including service members, veterans, military family members, and caregivers. Limited spots are available, please complete an application to be accepted into this workshop: Click for Details
