More About The Pale Figures

THE PALE FIGURES are an American Band. They formed in 2007 and released their first double album “Memphis and Chicago” in 2009. The record was recorded with Steve Albini (Engineer Nirvana, The Pixies) at Electircal Audio in Chicago and Roland Janes(Guitar Player for Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison) at Sam Phillips Recording Studio in Memphis. The band is currently comprised of 5 members from Wisconsin. In 2020, the band enters Rock Garden Studio with Engineer Marc Golde at the board to dive into what has been a difficult and rewarding project. The result is a double record called Mort Aux Lapins Volume 4 and Volume 5. The bands inspiration unfortunately came from the sudden suicide and death of a good friend, brother and cousin. The suicide death of a former guitar player in addition to the death of his brothers, pushed Siggy Dollar to encourage The Pale Figures to write the double record Mort Aux Lapins – Volume 4 and 5 as not only tribute and memory to his brother and friend but also as an inspiration to others who may be struggling. The double LP is the sound track for the upcoming movie MORT AUX LAPINS. The band hopes to create an awareness regarding Suicide, Mental Heath, Physical Health and Clergy Abuse through live events and the release of the album and film. The record is an uplifting journey that takes us into the life of Siggy Dollars brother Jonny Dollar. The Pale Figures create a sound track that is inspiring and gripping for this 26 song journey in audio and film.
