An institution in Northwest Indiana, the Merrillville Florist and Tea Room has been in business for over 40 years. I am proud and excited to carry on the tradition, and I take great pride in offering top-notch customer service and memorable floral expressions and tea room experiences.
I have an emotional connection to this industry and, specifically, to the Merrillville Florist and Tea Room. I recognize flowers are an essential part of our lives and our society. Flower arrangements add to the milestones and important moments in our lives, and play significant roles in special life events, such as weddings or funerals. The surprise of flower deliveries carry meaning and emotion, both for the sender as well as the recipient. And they bring joy and happiness, and lift our spirits in everyday settings.
Our Tea Room also holds a special place in my heart. I love the feeling that comes along with walking into the Tea Room and being seated in one of our cozy nooks. And like many of our customers, I have celebrated annual Christmas lunches with my mother, and hosted a bridal luncheon with my husband, Mark, and two amazing stepsons, Jack and Joey, and I have caught up with long-time friends over scones and a cup of tea.
I look forward to building on the accomplishments and traditions of the Merrillville Florist and Tea Room, and to continuing to serve Northwest Indiana for years to come.
