Members have various license and certifications to enhance our program to another level, such as:
-P.M.B.I. Professional Mountain Bike Instructors association certified Level 1
-N.I.C.A. National Interscholastic Cycling Association Level 2 Coaching Certified
-L.E.B.A. Law Enforcement Bicycle Association, (Founder only, retired police officer)
-SHIMANO T.E.C. Over 78 course credits applying to both the maintenance and knowledge of/within the bicycle industry pertaining to SHIMANO branded products.
-Wilderness First Aid, Concussion Awareness, C.P.R. & Defibrillator trained.
Our program has grown both physically as well as extended its reach across the region. Assisting, directing, creating and participating in outdoor adventures such as youth development and racing programs, bicycle safety clinics, group educational activities outside of bicycles as well. Below are just some of our community engagement organizations in which our program was requested to do what we do.

-Start 2 Finish Event Management of Charlotte
-U.S. National Whitewater Center
-Emerald Expositions, a private event company out of California, that creates both the internationally recognized Interbike & Charlotte’s own Cyclo-Fest for two years in a row with exposure to thousands all within a 3 day weekend.
We are a 501(c)3 program, that's self-funded, owner-operated, with the help of core staff and family. Continuously in the pursuit of both event sponsors, monetary donation support and other forms to keep the adventures going. All funds collected through the years are directly re-invested into the program in marketing materials, event supplies, equipment upgrade and maintenance of same and the long term goal of a Bikin’ Dads Adventure Van to haul both equipment and the staff to the vast amount of community engaging opportunities. We have also been able to provide a few bicycles to area fathers and kids that needed that “upgrade” in life, giving that boost that one needs every once in awhile.
