    - Awww yeah Ghostbuster fans, here's your ivory woofer! Zuul is a stunning white American bulldog mix who looks just like the gatekeeper from the famous movie and its remake. This Zuul is a fine boy who, like many bulldogs, is single-minded at times, but is smart and can be trained to refocus that single-mindedness on constructive tasks, like manners and playtime. Zuul would really like a strong pack leader who can train him out of his habit to guard food and valuables, which is why he cannot live with kids under 12 at the moment. Zuul should probably not live with cats, but he does like other dogs. He has a very forward and outgoing "bulldog" style that not all dogs like. If you have a dog and kids over 12, everyone is invited to the shelter to see if Zuul is a good fit. He was found as a stray, but he is playful and friendly and seems to like adventures with his human friends. If you are looking for a "ghostly presence" (of the friendly type) in your house, then Zuul is your boy!

    - My name is Switzerland, and I'm a lovely adult female with long fur and muted tabby stripes under all that misty grey. I was found as a stray, but I'm delightful as can be. I love to be petted, and I'm 100% lap cat. Wouldn't you like to have my warm soft coat curled up in your lap this autumn, full of purrs and snuggles? I love to play with string and shoelaces; I don't need those fancy toys! I have one request, and that's that I be your only feline. I just don't get along with other cats. But with a pretty girl like me, you won't want another cat.

Fun things to do in Elizabethtown

Since 1986 the Town Planner Calendar has been keeping families across America up-to-date about events and other fun things to do right in their hometown.

Delivered free of charge every December to millions of homes across America, our full-sized, full-color calendar is a time-tested and beloved tool for helping families stay organized. The large date blocks are not only loaded with lots of nearby events and fun things to do, there's plenty of room for you to record your own family's important events like birthdays, anniversaries, parties -- anything you have planned -- so everybody in the house can see them whenever they go to the fridge, out the front door, or wherever you choose to display it.

But there's more! Every calendar is full of coupons from popular local merchants, so you can save money while supporting small businesses right in your hometown.

And don't miss our beautiful full-color photography! Every month you'll recognize a new photo from someplace close to home, submitted to us by a local photographer. If you'd like to have your own hometown photos included in our calendar, please contact your local publisher for more information.

We truly believe it's better to "keep it local". From coast to coast and border to border, our network of franchisees work with organizations and merchants right in their community to make sure you get the information and savings you care about. We prefer to feature family-friendly events that are a short walk or drive away, and coupons from local businesses so you can support your hometown economy.

If there's something happening close to home that folks in your neighborhood need to know about, why not submit it to us today? Please note that publication of your event is subject to approval by your local Town Planner publisher.

If there's no Town Planner calendar in your area, you could be looking at a great business opportunity! Town Planner franchisees set their own hours and can work out of their homes while providing a valuable service to both homeowners and local businesses in the area.
