More About Historic Preservation Month Photo Contest

May is Historic Preservation Month.
Enter Bloomington's Historic Preservation Photo Contest for a chance to win a canvas print of your photograph of a historic Bloomington site:
1. Post a photo of a historic site or place within Bloomington, Indiana on your Instagram account.
2. Tag @historicbloomington
3. Follow the account @historicbloomington
4. Up to 3 photographs per contestant.
5. These must be original, unedited photographs taken in Bloomington, Indiana during the month of May 2024 by the contestant.
6. Photos must be posted between May 1st and May 31st.
7. Eligibility: Residents of Bloomington, Indiana with an address within the city limits ages 12 and up.
8. Winners will be chosen by June 13, 2024.
9. You retain your rights to your photograph; however, by entering the contest, you grant the City of Bloomington a royalty-free, world wide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of the photograph, in whole or in part, in any media now existing or later developed, for any purpose. Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit as feasible.
10. The winners will be contacted via direct messaging on Instagram and might be requested to send a larger copy format of the image and share their mailing address so that the images can be printed and mailed. The prints can take between 2 to 6 weeks to process and send.
