More About GermanFest at the Athenaeum
Discover your inner German and come party at the Athenaeum, for the Athenaeum! Enjoy vendors, live music, wiener dog races, German bier, German food and so much more. All proceeds from GermanFest benefit the maintenance and care of the historic Athenaeum. Celebrate German-American Day with this unique family event on Saturday, October 8, 12pm-8pm. Michigan and New Jersey Streets surrounding the Athenaeum will be closed to the public as we fill them with the tradition and culture of our German ancestors. With plenty of food, drinks, music, and games, this is a party you won’t want to miss!
