More About Night Under the Stars in Zionsville

Night Under the Stars is a cooperative event between the Purdue University Physics and Astronomy Outreach program, the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce and the Zionsville RISE Foundation. The RISE Foundation strives to bring educational opportunities to the area, and through the completion of our recent STEMz Program, we want to highlight some fantastic areas of science. Perfect as a lovely ‘couples-night-out’ or evening among friends. This evening event is reserved for those age 21 and over.

Prior to sunset, enjoy the scenery along with your charcuterie box and beverage. Once it is dark, several telescope viewing stations will be arranged to observe various features in the late-September night sky. Purdue University Physics and Astronomy Outreach faculty and students will be at the stations to share more about what you are seeing.

Flashlights will be provided. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. Dress for the evening temperatures. Please no pets. To register Click for Details
