A Holiday Favorite Coming to Life!
“All Aboard” The Polar Express™ Train Ride this Christmas Season. Inspired by the run-away hit movie, this holiday favorite comes to life when you and your family take a ride on The Polar Express™. Set to the music of the motion picture soundtrack, families will love their trip to the North Pole, complete with hot chocolate and cookies served prior to boarding the train. Passengers will enjoy singing, dancing, and a reading of The Polar Express™. We encourage you to wear your favorite pajamas and join in on the magic.
Come join us for a magical, family-friendly event that’s fun for all ages! Immerse yourself into the story as we journey from either Cumberland or Frostburg to the North Pole to see the Big Man himself!
Your journey:
Kid-sized, at 60 minutes long
Your journey to the North Pole covers only a portion of our line. Passengers do not disembark from the train at any time.
All passengers provided hot chocolate & a cookie
All passengers will receive a special commemorative silver sleigh bell
Only upper-dome car class passengers will receive a special ornament.
As in 2021, steam-powered trains are an additional $10 per ticket.
Departures are:
November 25th-27th DEPARTING TO AND FROM CUMBERLAND
December 2nd-4th DEPARTING TO AND FROM CUMBERLAND
December 9th-11th DEPARTING FROM & RETURNING TO FROSTBURG (steam-powered)
December 16th-24th DEPARTING TO AND FROM CUMBERLAND (steam-powered)
