The Winter Market is a great experience for those looking to get their shopping done before the holiday season. Come out and support your favorite local vendors and small businesses!

The market will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 24, 2023, at Wheeler Middle School, located at 401 W. Joliet St.

A variety of items, such as hand-crafted artisan goods, clothing, jewelry and holiday gifts, will be available at the market.

More About City of Crown Point

The City of Crown Point was founded on Oct. 31, 1834, by Solon Robinson. At the time, it was known as Robinson’s Prairie, named after Solon Robinson. Crown Point was incorporated as a town on June 3, 1868, and officially became a city 43 years later on June 6, 1911.

Crown Point is the seat of Lake County and is considered "The Hub," of Lake County.

Currently, the City of Crown Point is home to about 34,000 residents, according to the most recent data from the U.S. Census Bureau. Our staff works hard every day to, "Build a Stronger Community from Within."
