If you would like to learn how you can take advantage of these opportunities, we invite you to attend one of our information and orientation sessions on Wednesday, March 1st.

More About Allegany College of Maryland Adult Basic Education Program
The Adult Education Program at Allegany College of Maryland is a grant-funded program through the Maryland Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation and the U.S. Department of Education. The program provides educational services to Maryland residents who would like to earn the credential of a Maryland high school diploma by taking the GED test or by completing the National External Diploma Program, or who may need a skills refresher for their jobs or continuing education. Students must be at least 18 years of age and not enrolled in public school. The program offers assessment of academic skills, classes at all levels held at convenient locations throughout Allegany County, two programs to earn a Maryland high school diploma, college and career transition services and employment support services. Transportation and childcare are available.
