More About Breast Cancer Walk
Ethel Precht envisioned creating a local walk event to raise funds to provide financial support to individuals in Calcasieu and Cameron undergoing breast cancer treatment. That vision, and Ethel’s passion, have helped the annual breast cancer walk develop into one of the most significant community events focused on breast cancer awareness.
On Saturday, October 17, we will proudly host the 2026 Ethel Precht HOPE Breast Cancer Walk of WCCH at the Lake Charles Civic Center. Proceeds from the event will benefit our local breast cancer community. One hundred percent of the proceeds benefit our local community, making a huge difference in the lives of those impacted by breast cancer.
