Excelsior - Lake Minnetonka 4th of July Celebration

The Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce proudly produces and hosts the only public 4th of July fireworks event on Lake Minnetonka. Our community will celebrate our Nation’s favorite holiday in the tried and true way, with a day full of activity. Beginning early in the morning, until well past dark, we welcome you to be a part of the 4th of July experience on the shores of Lake Minnetonka, at the Commons Park in downtown Excelsior. Bring your family and friends to enjoy a 4th of July that kicks off with a Firecracker Run and ends with a BANG!

***Schedule of Events***

- 7:30 AM: Excelsior Firecracker 1-Mile Start at Excelsior Elementary

- 7:50 AM: Excelsior Firecracker 10k Start at Excelsior Elementary

- 8:00 AM: Excelsior Firecracker 5k Start at Excelsior Elementary

- 9:00 AM: Food Trucks Open for Business in Excelsior Commons

- 10:00 AM: Kid's Bike Parade, begin gathering at Kowalskis in Excelsior. Hosted by Primrose School.

- 11 AM: Bike Parade down Water Street, end in Excelsior Commons

- 11 AM-1 PM: DJ Bill Lage at Excelsior Commons Bandshell

- 4 PM: Paul Christian in Excelsior Commons Bandshell

- 7 PM: Legendary Percolators in Excelsior Commons Bandshell

- Dusk (approx. 9:45 PM): Fireworks at Excelsior Commons, launched in Excelsior Bay
