More About Coley House Tours and Exhibits - Open Hours This Fall

Fall into history this autumn at the Weston History & Culture Center in Weston, CT. Open every Sunday and Thursday 1pm - 4pm (closed on holidays and holiday weekends) from Thursday, September 14, 2023 – Sunday, November 19, 2023. Take a guided tour of the award-winning Coley House and learn about life during the pivotal 1940s. No other historic house in Connecticut reflects the 1940s era! On view in the visitor’s center is “Weston Illustrated: Penned, Painted and Sculpted” highlighting the work and life of fine artists who made Weston their home during the first half of the 20th century.

Young ones can explore history too! In the Coley House, curious minds can try their hand at dialing a rotary phone, typing on a typewriter, playing with vintage toys and games and building a house of the future with Lincoln Logs. Art lovers will enjoy our Young Artists corner where children can go on a scavenger hunt through “Weston Illustrated: Penned, Painted and Sculpted”, create a comic strip, illustrate their own magazine cover and draw cartoons. Fun for the entire family at the Weston History & Culture Center!
