Tour De Pere

Race Details: Downtown De Pere is a host community of the largest competitive road cycling series in the U.S., Kwik Trip Tour of America’s Dairyland (ToAD). ToAD has become one of the most popular race series internationally, earning an outstanding reputation for participant and fan experiences. It runs for 11 consecutive days from June 15 – 25 in communities throughout southeast and northeast Wisconsin.

The event is expected to draw 500 professional and amateur racers from more that 40 states and 15 countries. There will be ten races from late morning until dusk.

Event Highlights: Spectators will love the picturesque views of the river while watching the races, listening to live music, indulging in culinary specialties prepared by local food trucks, and enjoying a variety of craft beers and beverages. The family friendly event features a marketplace, a kid’s race for littles, middles, and tweens, a fat tire race, and other fun activities for all ages.

Course: The 1 mile criterium runs through downtown De Pere with the start/finish line on Front Street. The exciting course includes a number of fast turns, elevation changes, and a finishing stretch that is long and flat leading into a great final sprint.

Kid’s Race: This exciting event sponsored by School Specialty takes place just before the Men’s Pro Race, and is open to kids 12 & under. Fat Tire Race: For all the adventure seekers out there, take part in a Fat Bike Criterium sponsored by Broken Spoke in Manitowoc on June 18th and De Pere on June 19th. The event will take place right before the premier pro races, races will be 20 minutes in length, and there will be top 3 merchandise prizes for men and women provided by Broken Spoke.
