More About Veterans Day Parade
Annual Elk Grove Veterans Day Parade: After reading the names of our veterans, the parade starts at exactly 11:11 am on the 11th day of the 11th month. The parade runs from the CSD building on Elk Grove Blvd to right on Elk Grove-Florin to Elk Grove Regional Park. There will be floats, marching bands, veterans, boy scouts, girl scouts and everything you would expect to see at a hometown parade. The local service clubs, Rotary, Lions, Optimists and others will be providing a free hot dog to the first 1,000 people to arrive at Elk Grove Park. Come out and honor our veterans. The parade is sponsored by American Legion Elk Grove, Post 233 and Post 55.
