More About Fiesta Days Events (Weekend 2) - Ducks, Yaks, Music, Arts, Shops. & Parade - McHenry
Last weekend was all the music, rides and food at Peterson Park... the beginning of this week had a few smaller events but starting Thursday things move into town and ramp up again:
THURSDAY - Weekly Farmer's Market and Concert. At the Concert is the induction and announcement of the Parade Marshall. Music by Brass on Fire.
SATURDAY
7:00 am – 9:00 am
DamYak Challenge - is where you paddle your kayak from Book Creek at Miller Point down to the Dam and back to raise money for Kids in Need (KIN)
9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Art and Street Fair
Arts and Crafts in the Park
Food Vendors at Veterans Park
10:00 am – 3:00 pm - Arts & Street Fair are at Veterans Park and spills over to the streets of downtown for you to explore the local chops and merchants...Makers Zone Craft Stations...
Main Street Children’s Activities
11:00 am
Kiwanis Duck Derby - This is a fundraising event but also a fun event. Buy a duck and join the fun and the giving.
SUNDAY
11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Food Vendors at Veterans Park
1:30 pm
Parade starts: The annual closing parade goes down Main Street (East of 31) to Green Street, Down Green to Pearl and over to Riverside to finish up with a final goodbye to this year's Fiesta Days at Veterans Park.
