More About Greening of the Canal 🍀 Indianapolis
As a kick-off to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Shamrock Run Walk, The Athletic Club Foundation, in partnership with the Hoosier Lottery, will host the 27th Annual Hoosier Lottery Greening of the Canal on Wednesday, March 14, 2024.
SCHEDULE
5:00pm Live Music by the Indianapolis 500 Gordon Pipers and Sheep in the Boat Band & Ceremony
5:45pm Official Greening of the Canal
The event will take place at Ohio and West Street downtown on the Ohio Street canal basin. Join the Mayor, the Irish Citizen of the year, and the Hoosier Lottery in turning the canal green. This is a media event with live entertainment and food trucks. The event is free and open to the public.
