More About Ridgeley American Legion Auxiliary Annual Hardship Benefit Fund Fundraiser
The Ridgeley American Legion Auxiliary will be hosting their Annual Hardship Benefit Fund Fundraiser on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 6-11pm at the Ridgeley American Legion located at 10 2nd Ave West, Ridgeley, WV.
Food will be available for purchase from 6-9pm.
There will be a Chinese auction, 50/50 and door prizes throughout the evening.
Stephanie & the Wild Hearts will be performing from 8-11pm ($5 cover for band).
This year's proceeds will be divided as follows:
75% of the monies raised will go to help Veterans and their families in the Mineral/Allegany County Area.
The remaining 25% will go to WVU Potomac State College Veterans, Military and Family Programs, (WVU Veterans Center). The Center serves approximately 523 Veterans, Reservists, National Guard, Veteran Readiness & Employment Services Program Participants (VRE) and Active-Duty military students. This year we hope to provide funds that will help supply the center with items that are often requested at the Veterans Center.
The evening of the event there will be a box set up for donations for the Veterans Center. Items such as snacks, coffee, coffee creamer, notebooks, pens/pencils/markers, water flavors, puzzles, board games, etc. will be collected. All donations are greatly appreciated.
