Fiber Art ’24: The Duneland Weavers’ Guild will be showcasing their work April 6-29 at Chesterton Art Gallery, in the front (upper) gallery space. An opening reception featuring the artists, items for sale, and prize drawings will be held on April 7, from 1-4 PM, with a style show at 2 PM. Members of the Duneland Weavers’ Guild will be presenting various weaving demonstrations at CAC throughout their exhibition. Chris Acton will be in the gallery on April 19 from 1-3 PM, Sue Degnan and Margaret Jones on April 20 from 12- 2PM, and Roz Potter on April 27 from 10 AM-12 PM. Artists demonstrations are free to attend and all are welcome. 

The talented artists of the Guild have been busy creating original handwoven and knitted shawls, scarves, linens, wall hangings and more. You can purchase items on-site at the Art Center during the exhibition.

Weaving is a lively art in Northwest Indiana. The Duneland Weavers’ Guild has met monthly for more than seventy years, September through May. Current fiber artists, or those wishing to learn weaving are invited to join the Guild. Meetings are held via Zoom or in person at Three Moons Fiberworks in Chesterton.
