2024 Junior Sheriff’s Academy Enrollment
Sheriff Eddie Cathey is proud to announce that the UCSO will be hosting a total of five Junior Sheriff’s Academies this summer!
The Junior Sheriff’s Academy (JSA) is a program that introduces students to the world of law enforcement in both classroom and hands-on environments.
Topics of instruction for the Academy include but are not limited to traffic stops, Special Response Team functions, K-9 deployment and training, crime scene investigations, and much, much more.
This program is free for children to attend although registration is required. Academy class size will be limited to approximately 20 students per week, and we invite local parents to visit our website at the link below to learn more about the Junior Sheriff’s Academy and to register your child/children.
The registration deadline for the upcoming JSAs is 05/03/2024. If all classes fill up before this date, we will notify our community via our social media pages.
