More About Franklin Twp Civic League Shoe Drive
The Franklin Township Civic League is partnering with Changing Footprints, a not-for-profit group which collects and distributes shoes to those in need. Shoes that are unacceptable for use are recycled into material for playgrounds and football fields. The Civic League is currently collecting shoes of all kinds: tennis shoes, heels, sandals, boots, cleats, ballet shoes as well as any damaged shoe or a shoe missing its mate! Changing Footprints is in need of children’s shoes and sports shoes. We will also host a shoe giveaway through Changing Footprints this summer with the date announced on this page. You may drop off shoes at the following times at the Franklin Township Civic League building located at 8822 Southeastern: The second Monday of each month from 6:15-7:45 during the Civic League Board Meeting
The second and fourth Thursday of each month from 7:00-8:00 during the Lion’s Club Meetings
Saturday, April 27 from 11:00-1:00
Wednesday, May 7 from 5:30-7:30 Avenue
