More About Minnetonka - Become a Tree Steward Volunteer
Volunteering as a tree steward is a perfect way to learn new skills and give back. Stewards help protect the long-term health of our community forest.
Minnetonka Natural Resources, in partnership with the University of Minnesota and Hennepin County, is holding a class on Saturday May 4 to train volunteers. After training, stewards will be asked to commit at least 12 hours of volunteer service in 2024. Volunteers may work independently in city parks, with other stewards, or with city staff.
