More About Bike 4 All

Established in 2021, this fun, annual non-competitive bike ride (previously titled Bike 4 the Kids) for all ages is held at Switchyard Park in Bloomington. All Bike 4 the Kids registration fees go directly to the Monroe County YMCA Y for All Scholarship Fund. Y for All scholarships help support families and individuals in need to cover costs for Y memberships, programs, and services.

Bike 4 All features a 2 mile loop around Switchyard Park and the B-Line Trail. We invite non-cyclists to walk or run with us on the park loop. Our event features live music, food, health and wellness booths, helmet distribution and fittings for kids, and more. It’s fun for the whole family! New this year, participants will also have the option of registering to try a spin class at the Southeast Monroe County Y.

Registration
Register on-line or in person at the Monroe County YMCA. Please note that to allow ample ordering/printing time, you must register by April 28 to secure a Bike 4 All t-shirt. Shirts may be picked up at the event on Saturday, May 11 or at the Southeast Y on Friday, May 10, 6-7pm.
Registration fees: $25 ($20 for Y members) for age 18 and over, FREE for age 17 and under.

Note for non-YMCA members: You will need to create a YMCA account to register for Bike 4 All via the Monroe County YMCA web site. But you don't have to become a Y member. You can select the free non-member option when you create the account for you and any family member(s) you wish to add. Once you set up your non-member account(s) you can register for the Bike 4 All program. We appreciate your patience with the extra steps involved and we appreciate the Y managing our registration. If you have any questions please message us here or feel free to contact the Monroe County YMCA. Thank you!

When you register on-line you have the option to become a campaigner to help raise money for the Y for All Scholarship Fund! When you campaign for Bike 4 All, you are raising money for more children to learn life-saving skills of swimming, for more seniors to access rehabilitative health programs, for more kids to make memories at Summer Camp while their parents are still at work, and for more families to play, grow, and thrive together. The top three fundraisers will be recognized at the Bike 4 All event and win fabulous prizes! To fundraise, please click "yes" when asked "Are you interested in campaigning for Bike 4 All?" when registering for Bike 4 All, and we will send you your campaign link within 48 hours. Share your story with the Y for All Scholarship Fund or what the Y means to you when campaigning.
