Directed by Justin Tharpe, this rendition of Macbeth explores the gray area between perception and reality. Chris Canfield, artistic director of BBP and actor portraying Macbeth, says, “Our version of Macbeth asks the questions, ‘Are hallucinations really hallucinations? Are our choices really our choices? Or are we puppets in a bigger game?’ Because no matter what Macbeth does, he’s playing into someone’s hands.”

Special Features of the Production:

We will be in the intimate backyard of Surel’s Place, a non-profit artist residence known for its support of local art and immersive art experiences. Evening performances will take place at golden hour, providing for a magical theatre experience you won’t get anywhere else.
