More About Touch-a-Truck in Crown Point

Check out the vehicles that keep the city moving during the City of Crown Point’s free Touch-A-Truck event from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, at the Crown Point Sportsplex, located at 1313 E. North St. There will be fire trucks, police vehicles, dump trucks, ambulances and more!

Admission is free and is open to all ages!

More About City of Crown Point

The City of Crown Point was founded on Oct. 31, 1834, by Solon Robinson. At the time, it was known as Robinson’s Prairie, named after Solon Robinson. Crown Point was incorporated as a town on June 3, 1868, and officially became a city 43 years later on June 6, 1911.

Crown Point is the seat of Lake County and is considered "The Hub," of Lake County.
