More About Trunk or Treat at Dean and Barbara White Community Center
Join us for a frightfully fun evening at Merrillville's Trunk or Treat, taking place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 24 at the Dean and Barbara White Community Center, 6600 Broadway.
Bring the whole family as we transform our parking lot into a festive Halloween setting, where you can trick-or-treat from creatively decorated car trunks.
Make sure to wear your best costume because we’ll be having costume contests for both children and adults. Your little ghosts and goblins can also participate in a kids' costume parade around the community center!
We’re looking for groups, businesses, and individuals interested in decorating their cars and handing out candy at the event. We’ll also have a contest to pick the best-decorated vehicle at our Trunk or Treat! Please fill out a participant application if you or your organization would like to hand out candy at our Trunk or Treat event. We're also accepting sponsorships and donations to help fund this program.
