
More About Chocolate Fondue

▢8 ounces milk chocolate roughly chopped
▢8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate roughly chopped
▢3/4 cup heavy cream
▢1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
▢1/2 teaspoon instant coffee granules optional but excellent!
▢1/8 teaspoon salt
▢2-3 tablespoons of your favorite liqueur
Dipping Foods
▢Sliced bananas
▢Orange segments
▢Oreo Cookies
▢Strawberries
▢pound cake cubed
▢Marshmallows
▢Pretzel rods
▢Apples
▢Graham crackers
Instructions
Prepare the foods you want to dip in the fondue and get the fondue pot ready.
In a heavy saucepan OR fondue pot over medium heat, melt the chocolates with the heavy cream. Continue to heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture is smooth.
Mix in the instant coffee, vanilla extract, salt and liqueur if desired. Add more cream OR liqueur to thin if wanted.
Transfer to a fondue pot if needed then place in the fondue rack to stay warm.
Serve with the prepared foods with fondue fork or wooden skewers!
