More About Peppermint Patty Cupcakes

Ingredients

▢15 ounces box of chocolate cake mix OR your own homemade recipe
Oil/egg/water according to your boxed cake mix instructions
▢1/2 cup vegetable oil
▢3 eggs
▢1 1/4 cups water
▢24 York Peppermint patties to put on each cupcake
Instructions
Prepare the cake according to the instructions.
Line muffin tins with cupcake liners.
Fill liners two-thirds full, then place an unwrapped peppermint patty on top.
Place enough batter on top to cover the peppermint patty.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 17-10 minutes, until the top of the cupcakes spring back when touched or a tester inserted into the middle comes out clean.
Cool on racks.
Frost with my Peppermint Buttercream Icing. Serve and enjoy!
