More About Cajun Music and Food Festival
The Cajun Music and Food Festival returns for the 40th year on July 18, 2026. The indoor festival is held at the Burton Complex in South Lake Charles on the corner of Gauthier Road and Gulf Hwy.
Get ready for great authentic Cajun food and music from 8:45 AM to 10 PM. Groove all day and into the night to live performances from popular local and regional Cajun bands! Savor delicious Cajun cuisine like pork stew, jambalaya, gumbo, and more! Over 30 vendor booths will be on site, ranging from hand-sewn and crochet items to tumblers and souvenirs. Arrive early for the second annual accordion competition for children and adults beginning at 9 AM. The kids' zone will feature arts & crafts for children. A live and silent auction and raffle tickets for great prizes will round out the excitement! Cash only with an ATM on-site.
