More About Silence is Golden: The Goodnow Library and Athina Education Silent Book Group - Goodnow Library
As the ancient proverb says, “Speech is silver, but silence is golden.” So grab your favorite book and join other readers in the Goodnow Library's newly renovated Historical Room for an evening of reading and socializing. The gatherings will be divided into 45 minutes of quiet time for free reading, followed by social time facilitated by Athina Education.
Silent reading groups are the perfect opportunity for book lovers to meet other like-minded individuals without the pressure of reading an assigned book.
Registration is not required. Not sure what to read? Librarians will be on hand to provide recommendations and help you check out a book!
