More About Shadows-on-the-Teche Farm Fest
The Shadows-on-the-Teche and the Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival & Fair Association would like to announce the 5th annual Farm Fest! This family-friendly event will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Shadows (317 E. Main Street, New Iberia).
Once through the gate, attendees can enjoy a variety of games from old-fashioned carnival ones to Farm Fest staples like Magic Fishing and Alligator Pull to brand new ones like Rocket Launcher. Frosted Apron will show you how to turn a Rice Krispie Treat into an adorable farm animal before you head over to the petting zoo with Leaning Oak Farm.
Attendees can enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, Chili Fritos, and other festival fare along with cold beverages, including beer and wine. Cajun Company Band, sponsored by Bambino’s Burgers, will provide live entertainment starting at 6:00 p.m.
