Women’s Leadership Luncheon

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Holly Boffy, who has some pretty impressive accomplishments, but what makes this even more special is that she is one of our own!

Holly is an Abbeville High School graduate who has built an incredible career in education and leadership. She was named Louisiana Teacher of the Year in 2010, went on to serve as President of the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE), and was recently recognized as the 2027 Louisiana High School Principal of the Year! She currently serves as principal of the W.D. and Mary Baker Smith Career Center in Lafayette, where she continues to help students discover opportunities and prepare for their futures.

From her roots right here in Vermilion Parish to leadership roles across our state, Holly's story is a wonderful reminder of what determination, hard work, and a passion for making a difference can accomplish. I can't think of a better person to help us celebrate women in leadership, and I am especially excited that we get to welcome her back home!

And of course, it wouldn't be our Women's Leadership Luncheon without a little holiday fun! 🎄

We'll start the morning at 10:00 AM with holiday music, mimosas, mocktails, and an hour of networking. It's a chance to catch up with friends, make new connections, and maybe even meet someone who inspires your next big idea! Then we'll enjoy a delicious lunch, hear from Holly, and have some fun with door prizes and festive surprises.

Whether you're a business owner, a professional, a community volunteer, or simply someone who enjoys being surrounded by incredible women, this luncheon is for YOU!

Bring your coworkers, invite your friends, or better yet, reserve a table of eight and make it a girls' day out! And don't feel like you need to know someone to come. That's part of what makes this event so special. You might walk in not knowing anyone and leave with a few new friends!
