The Maple Grove Historic Preservation Society formed as a grassroots effort by local citizens. By the mid 1990s development of Maple Grove was proceeding at a rapid pace, and, if any of the past was to be preserved, it needed to be done soon. Our preservation group formed out of a desire to learn about and to preserve some of those memories, places, and artifacts for future generations.
