More About Fall Power Recycling & Shred-It Day at the Indianapolis Zoo
Eliminate your old cell phones and other electronics the environmentally friendly way during the Power Recycling Day at the Indianapolis Zoo. Stay in your car—just pull into the Zoo’s South Lot and Technology Recyclers will do the rest!
📲They take almost anything with a plug: phones, cables, batteries, TVs, microwaves, computers and more. Laptops are free to recycle; TVs and monitors have a $20 cash fee. (No large appliances.) Hard drives are securely wiped before destruction.
📄Crime Stoppers will shred a bag of documents for a $5 donation!
💊IMPD will collect prescription drugs for free disposal!
Thanks to your support, this event has kept more than 51 tons of electronics out of local landfills!
