More About Biesecker Library: Celebrating America Essay Contest! Grades 7-12
The Mary S. Biesecker Public Library is sponsoring a special essay contest to celebrate America 250! Teens in grades 7-12 can submit an essay to the Library answering the question: What Does America Mean to You? for a chance to win a $50 prize!
Entries can either be handwritten and delivered to the library in person, or emailed as an attachment to admin@maryslibrary.com with the words “Writing Contest” in the subject line. If you submit your essay by email, please look for a thank you from us confirming its receipt. All essays must be submitted by Thursday, April 30th.
Winners in each category (Grades 7-8, 9-10 and 11-2) will receive a $50 prize from the Library. Winning entries will be published to the Library’s website as part of our Celebrating America commemoration. (Student’s first name and last initial included.)
