We’re excited to welcome Seabird Pediatrics to MAFC as they offer pediatric aquatic therapy on Thursday afternoons. Private sessions with a Seabird therapist use the benefits of water to help children build confidence, strength, and independence. Sessions are designed for children with neurological and developmental challenges, however families looking for a specialized environment for their child may also be a great fit. Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Show off your creativity by using fabric, glue, embellishments, paint, and more to bring your artificial pumpkin to life. Remember, all items must be attached, and your pumpkin should be freestanding with your own base. Let's keep it family-friendly and have fun! Be sure to register your pumpkin when you drop it off at the front desk October 5 - October 23. Prizes will be awarded to the winners on October 30!

As part of scheduled maintenance, the indoor pool heater replacement takes place October 12-16. We do not anticipate any pool closure, but water temperatures may get cooler later in the week. We will keep you informed if temperatures drop to 80 so you can plan your workout accordingly.

Join us for our upcoming School Day Out! We invite our youngest members to join us for a fun-filled day during the teacher workday on October 19 from 7am – 6pm. Activities include arts and crafts, gym games, outdoor play, and swimming. The cost is only $35 per child. Please register in person at the front desk.

Our next swim lessons start soon for MAFC members 6 months old and up! The online request form opens on Monday, October 12 at 10 AM and closes Sunday, November 18 at 11:59 PM. This session runs the week of October 26 and ends December 12. Please note that there are no classes the week of Thanksgiving. Completing the online form enters your swimmer into a lottery for swim class placement.
Members and the public can join us on October 14 at 5:30pm for an Exercise Recovery educational program presented by FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers. Registration is requested but not required.

Registration is open for the Halloween Edition of PARENT'S NIGHT OUT on this Friday, October 16 from 5pm – 9pm! Parents, enjoy a date night or just a quiet night at home while your kids spend the evening with us! Kids will swim, do a craft, have a pizza dinner, and play games in the gymnasium. Register at the front desk. Event is also open to non-members, so bring a friend! The cost is $25 per child for members and $35 for non-members.

Join us for an evening of fun and frights MAFC’s Trunk or Treat! On Friday, October 23, starting at 6:30 PM, our Upper Parking Lot will transform into a Halloween haven filled with creatively decorated car trunks and sweet treats. Little ghouls and goblins are encouraged to wear their costumes, and food trucks will be on site to satisfy your monstrous appetites.
