Shanksville Sub & pizza PICKUP DAY

The Shanksville Volunteer Fire Department will hold its third sub and pizza sale of the year on Saturday, March 21st. The department assembles its own 18-inch subs fresh on the morning of the sale. Each sandwich has three meats, (ham, salami, and bologna), two cheeses, (American and Provolone), with or without onions, on a freshly-baked bun, plus lettuce, tomato and pickles packed separately so the sandwiches never get soggy. Subs cost $12.00 and 12” pizzas, fresh-made by Kovals, are $10.00 with or without pepperoni. Orders are due the week before the sale, Thursday, March 12th. Pick up orders at the Shanksville Fire Hall, 625 North Street, Shanksville, between 9AM and 11AM on March 21st.
Sub and pizza sales support the mission of the Shanksville Fire Department: “to protect, serve and respond in our community when duty calls.” Volunteer responders, trained in firefighting, rescue, hazmat, EMS quick response, ice and water rescue and scuba diving serve Stonycreek Township, Indian Lake Borough, Shanksville Borough, and a section of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
