More About Edina - Arbor Day Celebration and Planting
Celebrate Arbor Day and help plant dozens of trees in Creek Valley School Park. This is the first time the City's Arbor Day celebration will be held at the park.
Park Maintenance staff will use an auger in advance to loosen the soil where trees will go. Shovels and other equipment will be provided.
The event begins with a demonstration on how to properly plant a tree. Then groups will fan out across the park to do the planting.
Please bring work or garden gloves and wear closed-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
All ages are welcome.
