PCX Austin: Austin’s New Pop Culture Convention

Pop culture fans in Central Texas will soon have a brand-new convention to call their own. PCX Austin, a new pop culture expo celebrating comics, gaming, film, television, cosplay, and collectibles, will debut August 15–16, 2026 at the Fairmont Austin, bringing celebrity guests, exciting panel discussions, talented artists, and a vibrant exhibitor floor to the heart of downtown Austin.

Designed as a celebration of fandom and creativity, PCX Austin will showcase everything fans love about pop culture, from comics and collectibles to gaming, movies, television, cosplay, and more. The event aims to capture the creative spirit of Austin while delivering a high-energy weekend filled with unforgettable experiences for fans of all ages.

Attendees can expect celebrity meet-and-greets, professional photo opportunities, interactive live Q&A panels, cosplay showcases, hands-on workshops, family-friendly activities, a bustling marketplace featuring artists, crafters, and vendors offering unique collectibles, toys, apparel, and memorabilia, and a high-energy after-party to close out the celebration.
