More About Family Concert and Music Maker’s Faire: Kids Take the Stage
Curated by Rita Whitaker Haun, Musikgarten Instructor & Education Coordinator
Local students from the Greater Tahoe-Truckee-Reno area take the stage as we welcome young musicians to perform in the Family Concert alongside small ensembles from Classical Tahoe. In our instrument exploration zone, children will learn how the instruments work, sound, and feel. The Nevada Discovery Museum will be on hand to create hands-on music and science stations for children to draw, paint, and make their own percussion and string instruments.
11 AM – 12 PM Family Concert
12 PM – 2 PM Music Maker’s Faire
Tickets: Adults $10 and Students $5 to support the Festival’s educational programs.
