More About Gibson Woods Wild Ones Chapter 26th Annual Native Plant Sale

The Gibson Woods chapter of Wild Ones announced that their 26th Annual Native Plant Sale will be held on Saturday, May 2nd from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT. The event will take place inside the large pavilion at beautiful Lake Etta County Park, located at 4801 W 29th Ave, Gary, IN 46406 – just 3 blocks south & 3 blocks east of the I 80/94 Burr Street exit.

The sale boasts well over 100 species of plants, grasses & shrubs - all native to the Midwest. You won’t find any cultivars at this sale!! This event is rain-or-shine, so dress accordingly. Wild Ones Natural Landscapers, Ltd. is a 501c non-profit, environmental education and advocacy corporation. Their mission is to promote native landscapes through education, advocacy, and collaborative action. The plant sale helps fund educational events and allows the organization to work with communities within Lake & Porter counties to establish native plant pollinator gardens.
